Sciaky receives President’s “E” Award for exporting EBAM systems around the world

Sciaky—a USA-based manufacturer of metal additive manufacturing (AM) systems and subsidiary of Phillips Service Industries (PSI)—has received the President’s “E” Award from the US Department of Commerce for the export of its metal electron beam additive manufacturing (EBAM) systems around the world.

The President’s “E” Award was created by Executive Order of President Kennedy in 1961 ‘to afford suitable recognition to persons, firms or organizations that contribute significantly in the effort to increase United States exports’. Applicants must be able to demonstrate four years’ export expansion that is measurable, innovative, sustainable and has broad impact.

‘Sciaky is honored to receive this prestigious award from the US Department of Commerce,’ said Bob Phillips, vice president (VP) of Sciaky. ‘We are proud to be an American company that exports innovative technology all across the world.’

The President’s “E” Award ceremony took place during the Discover Global Markets: U.S. Manufacturers to Europe and Beyond Conference, in Cleveland, Ohio, USA, on September 18-20, 2017.
