3D Hubs and Cults 3D partner up to leverage 3D content and creation

3D content marketplace Cults 3D was established to connect 3D designers and buyers who want to 3D print new and original objects. Today, the company has announced a new partnership with 3D printer network 3D Hubs, whereby it is integrating the latter's Teleport API into its platform. According to the company: "Cults is happy to announce this new partnership with 3D Hubs. Our desire has always been to offer the best services to our users. Therefore, it seemed natural to choose a company as innovative and dynamic as 3D Hubs. We were very quickly seduced by the technical ease-of-use of their API, it was perfect for what we intended to do. The benefit to our community is important because it is a complementary service to our business." By virtue of this partnership, users can order 3D prints of designs created by Cults designers’ directly from the platform. The user experience is reportedly very simple and fluid — after downloading the 3D file, all our members have the opportunity to 3D print their creation via 3D Hubs' printers location service. On the download confirmation page, the user can choose "Print with 3D Hubs". Files are immediately sent to 3D Hubs where the user can see the different prices of a 3D print and choose the best hub and/or most local hub to their location.
